Provider and network needs in response to youth SUD residential closures
Washington state recently experienced the closure of two residential youth substance use disorder (SUD), co-occurring treatment programs. This closure further challenges access to services and impacts families, young people, and providers statewide.
The session aims to achieve the following objectives:
Provider perspectives: Hear from outpatient substance use and mental health providers and other key referral partners who are experiencing difficulties finding appropriate levels of care for youth and young adults.
Raise awareness: Learn about programs that are being implemented in various regions to support families and providers affected by the closures.
Facilitate conversation between key referral partners and funders responsible for ensuring access to services that support health and wellbeing.
