October 30 at 2:00 p.m. ET
On October 30 at 2:00 p.m. ET, the Office for Victims of Crime Training and Technical Assistance Center will present an online Expert Q&A discussion with Kimber Nicoletti-Martinez and Cathy Phelps on "Using the Expressive Arts To Provide Interpersonal Violence Services.”
The expressive arts, either writing, painting, singing, movement, or making music, can offer powerful strategies to provide services to victims. The arts can be used to explore feelings, foster self-awareness, reduce anxiety, and increase self-esteem. This session will provide an overview of the healing power of the arts and how to incorporate the arts into your work with victims and survivors, even if you are not an artist.
It's easy to participate:
1. Register and submit your questions in advance.
2. Log into the session at the time of the event.
3. Engage with the experts as they answer your questions.
