We will be joined by Jessica Cowles & Hannah Pepin, MSW, LSWAIC, from the King County Sexual Assault Resource Center (KCSARC) to present Deconstructing Law & Order: SVU. In this session, Jessica & Hannah will be separating fact from fiction, utilizing clips from the hit television show Law & Order: SVU to provide education on how real-life sexual assault cases in King County differ from dramatizations that we see on television. They will also be discussing why advocacy services and adequately supporting victims through the legal process is so vitally important.
