The fall season is here and so is October’s National Breast Cancer Awareness Month
During this October, Sisters Who Care (SWC) will host our annual Justice in Pink (JIP) Event. This year marks our 10th Year Anniversary.
Thank you, Superior Court, for supporting Justice in Pink all these years!!! As usual, JIP, aims to raise awareness, inform, encourage action, and honor loved ones.
This is what you can expect throughout the month of October:
Sisters Who Care will provide education materials and lots of goodies in the CCFJC main hallway.
On October 16, 2024, at 12:00 pm, we will host our 10th celebration event - so SAVE THE DATE!
Great News - this year, our first MAMMOGRAM VAN will be on site at the CCFJC on October 16, 2024, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. There are 21 appointment times available. For an appointment, email Darlin Johnson (Darlin.Johnson@kingcounty.gov) and she will confirm your appointment time. All appointments will be on a first come first served basis.
Also to show unity – during the month of October, we ask you to wear your pink gear - scarves, shirts, dresses, socks, and ties for a chance to win a prize during the raffle held on October 16, 2024. Last, but not least, please learn about Cancer, educate others, and get regular screenings.
We look forward to seeing you there!
