"Rebuilding Hope is hosting our Basic Sexual Assault Awareness Training this February 2023!The training is a combination of six four hour virtual sessions and outside independent work that totals 30 hours. The training is state-certified by WCSAP, and gives an individual accreditation for up to five years. Participants are only able to miss ONE virtual training session (4 hours). If folks want to attend but have extenuating circumstances they can contact Ash Powers.
A variety of topics will be covered throughout the sessions such as; trauma and the brain, prosecuting and investigating sex crimes, forensic exams, the intersections of sexual violence and marginalized identities, sex trafficking programs and preventions and more.
The dates of the sessions are as follows:
Wednesday February 8th from 9:00 am-1:00 pm PST
Friday February 10th from 9:00 am-1:00 pm PST
Monday February 13th from 9:00 am-1:00 pm PST (note the Monday date)
Wednesday February 15th from 9:00 am-1:00 pm PST
Wednesday February 22nd from 9:00 am-1:00 pm PST
Friday February 24th from 9:00 am-1:00 pm PST
