This June Rebuilding Hope is hosting our Basic Sexual Assault Awareness Training (BSAAT). The training is a combination of six three and a half hour virtual sessions and outside independent work that totals 30 hours. The training is state-certified by WCSAP, and gives an individual accreditation for up to five years.
A variety of topics will be covered throughout the sessions such as; trauma and the brain, prosecuting and investigating sex crimes, forensic exams, the intersections of sexual violence and marginalized identities, restorative justice processes, sex trafficking programs and preventions and more.
The dates of the sessions are as follows:
Wednesday June 8th from 9:00 am-12:30 pm
Friday June 10th from 9:00-12:30 pm
Wednesday June 15th from 9:00 am-12:30 pm
Friday June 17th from 9:00 am-12:30 pm
Wednesday June 22nd from 9:00-12:30 pm
Friday June 24th from 9:00 am-12:30 pm
