Yard Sign Awareness Community Activity

 Monday, May 2nd

Yard Sign Awareness Community Activity: Join PTH in Vancouver, Longview or Tukwila from 10:00 -2:00 pm in creating yard signs to display at our offices or take home and bring awareness to our missing and murdered Indigenous people.

 

Tuesday, May 3rd

Red Dress Project: PTH will be displaying red dresses through-out Cowlitz tribal offices to represent the spirit of the many Indigenous women victimized by violence, who are missing and murdered.

 

Wednesday, May 4th

Tree of Healing Community Activity: Join PTH in Vancouver, Longview or Tukwila from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm in creating a Tree of Healing. Write your message for healing on a leaf and add it to our tree. The finished products will be displayed through-out Cowlitz tribal offices.

 

Thursday, May 5th

MMIW Day of Awareness: Live Zoom Event 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. PTH staff and Cowlitz tribal members talk about the history of MMIW, men in the movement, cultural impacts and pay tribute to Cowlitz missing and murdered tribal members.

PTH will be be hosting the Yard Sign Awareness and Tree of Healing activities at St. Mary's on Tuesday, May 3rd for elders and employees to participate from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm in the Culture Room. Please email pathwaystohealing@cowlitz.org with any questions.

employees.
