Nov. 17th: Power, Privilege, and Difference | Boundaries:The sex trade is built on power dynamics. Survivors often experience a lack of agency and have to fight to gain power: with buyers, traffickers, and society. Working at an organization automatically puts us in places of power. Life circumstances also increase the privileges we experience. This workshop looks at personal power, privilege, and biases and considers ways to empower others and build trust, even through the most difficult task of establishing equitable boundaries.
