Basic Sexual Assault Awareness Training (BSAAT) - Virtual - Multiple dates beginning 10/17/22 - 30 hours state-approved Sexual Assault Advocate Core training
Rebuilding Hope's BSAAT curriculum is certified by the Washington Coalition of Sexual Assault Programs and satisfies the state's Core training requirement for community sexual assault program advocates. If you are interested in serving as a volunteer, intern or staff sexual assault advocate at any accredited Community Sexual Assault Program (CSAP), including at Rebuilding Hope, this is a required training. BSAAT is also highly encouraged for any victim of crime advocates, system- or community-based who have or will have contact with sexual assault and abuse survivors in the course of their work. Rebuilding Hope offers BSAAT cohorts every February, June and October. Other professionals seeking to increase their knowledge and skills around sexual violence and serving survivors in any capacity will also greatly benefit from this training. There is a cost associated with admission and discounts are available for groups attending from a single organization or agency.
