Stakeholder Briefing: HHS' Integrative Response to Human Trafficking

Human trafficking is a public health issue that impacts many of the individuals, families, and communities served through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The recently released National Action Plan to Combat Human Trafficking highlights the importance of prevention.

Effectively responding to human trafficking requires a coordinated effort across health and human service systems, collaborating with federal, state, and local partners.

Join us for a stakeholder briefing on HHS’ integrative response to human trafficking.

The briefing will include remarks from leadership at the Administration for Children and Families and a panel discussion showcasing Regional Anti-Trafficking Initiative Support and Engagement (RAISE) projects to highlight anti-trafficking efforts taking place within local communities. The event will also include updates on activities announced by Secretary Becerra during the President’s Interagency Task Force to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons meeting.
