Registration is now open to attend "Responding to the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Boys and Men", a virtual National Human Trafficking Prevention Month event hosted by Giant Slayer Consulting, and underwritten by Kristi House's Bridges to Futures program funded by the U.S. Department of Justice, Office for Victims of Crime.
Date: Monday, January 24, 2022
Time: 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm EST
The event begins with a screening of BOYS, a documentary about minor male sex trafficking across America, followed by an insightful panel discussion. Panelists include the CEOs of four organizations dedicated solely to serving male-identifying survivors. They include The BUDDY House (Atlanta), Hero House (Tampa), Bob's House of Hope (Dallas), and Emmaus (Chicago). The moderator and panelists will share information on the intersection between substance dependency and male exploitation, and related gaps in acute mental healthcare, the unique service responses of panelists' respective programs, and strategic recommendations for advancing the movement in 2022. A moderated Q/A will conclude the event.
There is no cost to attend, however, registration is required. Register today as capacity is limited. Please consider sharing the registration link and attached flyer across your networks.
