Join Northwest Network virtually the week of March 22nd for two special training sessions in a special collaboration with LGBTQ+ programs in Ottawa!

For community members- March 25th from 6pm- 8:30pm PST

The Northwest Network of Bisexual, Trans, Lesbian and Gay Survivors of Abuse works to end violence and abuse by building loving and equitable relationships in our community. From our over 30 years as a by-and-for, peer advocacy organization, we know most survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault reach out to a friend or family member long before they attempt to access a social service agency for support. When they know how, friends and family can help reduce a survivor’s isolation, help survivors implement safety planning, offer practical aid and provide necessary emotional support. In this community workshop, NW Network advocates will discuss the nuances of intimate partner violence, share a framework for understanding the unique experiences of LGBTQ+ survivors and communities and offer practical skills and creative strategies to support creation of loving and equitable relationships of all kinds.
