Meeting: Quarterly Regional Meeting for Providers Serving Adults in the Sex Trade

Overview: This is a meeting open to all organizations serving adults (primarily 24 and older) of all gender identities who have been in, or are currently in the sex trade (including, but not limited to, work related to: sex work, prostitution, commercial sexual exploitation, sex exchange, trafficking, etc.).  Tamaso Johnson will be offering an introductory overview of the WA state legislative process.  This session will include: the general function and structure of the state legislature; how a bill becomes law; opportunities for community input on legislation; how to find & track a bill you’re interested in.  The last 30 minutes of this meeting will be an open format for attendees to briefly share about any state policy work they are involved with this legislative session.
