Sex trafficking is a significant problem in Pierce County and the average age of entry is 12 years old. It is critical for our community to become educated about the issue and to learn what your County is doing to respond to these crimes. January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month. In its recognition, the Sexual Assault Center for Pierce County invites you to attend a public screening of the Emmy-award winning documentary Shattered Dreams. Following the film, we will offer a panel of local professionals to respond to questions from the audience.
