The Cross Agency Systems Training (CAST) for children/youth is designed to be a general overview of local social systems serving children and youth in King County. Participants will learn whom each system serves, goals of current programs, services available to consumers, as well as how to access these services. The training is designed for community social service staff, youth, their families or anyone else wishing to become more familiar with systems and services in King County. Systems represented include: Mental Health, Substance Abuse, Crisis Services, Child Welfare, Parent Supports, Wraparound, Juvenile Justice, Developmental Disabilities, Special Education, Public Health and DSHS Financial Assistance.
