FWCAT Presents: Trafficking Prevention for Schools: Mobilizing Youth to End Human Trafficking

PRESENTER: PHOEBE ANDERSON-KLINE

 

Phoebe began her career working with and counseling adults on healthy relationships, sexuality, and communication. Following her move to Seattle to pursue her MSW at the University of Washington, Phoebe has worked with Seattle Against Slavery for the past year and a half, facilitating the Trafficking Prevention for Schools program, as well as the newly founded Youth Leadership Council. In her spare time, she’s an aspiring plant parent and coffee drinker.

 

PRESENTER: JOHNATHAN MARTYN

 

Johnathan has a background in working to end all forms of gender based violence including, but not limited to, human trafficking. He has a degree in sociology from Seattle University and is a CDC-certified Primary Prevention Specialist. He has facilitated workshops in King County

high schools, for the King County Sexual Assault Resource Center, and Seattle Against Slavery. These have resulted in dialogue about how to end exploitation with around 10,000 different students from a range of backgrounds. He has also facilitated sex buyer intervention courses in OPS' "Stopping Sexual Exploitation" program.
